Тема: A very interesting incident! Отправлено: 21/01/2010 16:29 When I had been to Govardhan, to visit Guruji's place. I also decided to visit the Mansi Ganga temple, before I left for Noida again. The pundits inside the temple, spared no opportunity to help me empty my wallet. After performing my due rights, I came out of the temple. I saw an old man. He was no ordinary old man, he looked very attractive, he had an aura! He wore a clean Kurta, a shawl, a nice white dhoti. I could not take my eyes off him. He had a stature that would put the strongest of men to shame. He had a very peculiar looking, wooden staff. It was an intricately carved, rich wooden staff. Yet, he approached me and struck the ground with his staff twice and said "I too want some alms, give me some alms". There was a twinkle in his eyes. As if he came there to test me, right when I had no money left with me. I prayed to Guruji, to be able to give this extraordinary looking person some money. To my surprise I found a shiny 5 rupee coin in my right pant pocket!! I would have sworn, it was not there earlier! I was happy and I gave the coin to him and touched his feet. I did not turn back again, as I was certain if I did, I would not see anyone there. I was too afraid. I just left! I think I know who he was ... or do I?? |
